MetroNational

Acumen has been involved with MetroNational in master planning for the revitalization of Memorial City, Texas and has been instrumental in the design development and execution of the project serving as design consultant for the entire team.

Acumen developed conceptual designs for a 60,000SF of open-air retail expansion of Memorial City Mall, including a 300’ long pedestrian bridge linking the mall to the adjacent medical campus and a new Westin Hotel and condominium development. The design featured a large plaza that was to be used for seasonal displays and entertainment.

Acumen also partnered with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and MetroNational to develop the architectural design for a twenty-three story, 250 room hotel and 75 luxury condominium residences in Houston, Texas as the focal point of the overall entertainment/ retail district at Memorial City.  Concepts included interior water walls, feature bar lounge, skydeck and infinity pool on level18, spa and fitness areas, conferencing center, and the skybridge connection design.
